RULES & INFO

The rules we have in place are to protect what we have built here at Lychgate Lillies, we have tried to keep the rules to a minimum, and if you are in any doubt, please get in touch and we will gladly help you out.

FISHING RULES & INFO

A valid environment agency rod licence is required at all times.

Maximum 2 rods unless otherwise agreed.

All anglers must check in upon arrival and vacate by the agreed time.

All fishing must be booked in advance.

Respect other anglers - no casting into other anglers water or excessive noise.

Anti social behaviour such as littering, or alcohol/drugs misuse will result in removal with no refund given.

Barbless hooks only.

All nets, mats and slings are supplied, please do not bring your own on site.

Carp care kits must be used on all hook holds and body wounds.

All fish to be weighed over the unhooking mat and returned to the water promptly using the weigh sling.

All fish must be photographed whilst kneeling over the unhooking mat, never stand up whilst holding a fish.

No retaining of fish unless authorised by the bailiff.

No nuts, beans or particles baits allowed (including tiger nuts).

Bait boats are allowed if used safely.

No fixed leads or bent hooks, all rigs MUST be fished safely and fish friendly.

Leadcore, tubing or naked set ups must be used responsibly to avoid tethering fish.

No braided mainline (except for spod and marker setups).

Strictly no fires.

BBQ's permitted only in designated areas or raised units.

Toilets must be used at all times.

Rubbish must be taken home OR placed in the bins provided - leave no trace!

No dogs permitted unless by prior arrangement and then must be under control at all times.

Bailiffs reserve the right to carry out rig checks and terminate sessions for any rule breaches - if in any doubt, ask before starting fishing.

No live baiting or freshwater fish use.

No swimming or wading above knee depth.

No drones or night vision cameras unless authorised.

All catches to be photographed regardless of weight, and all catches must be reported for our records. Please photograph both sides of every fish.

Lake management reserve the right to use any photos for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise.

By booking with Lychgate Lillies, it is assumed that you all members of your group, will abide by our rules. Non-compliance may result in being banned.

You can book a specific cabin, just use the lake map if you are unsure of the swim options.

Lake exclusive bookings  are also welcome and we are a great venue for socials and filming trips.
