There are approximately 100 carp in the lake from mid doubles, right up to well over 40lbs!
We think we have the balance spot on, we want our anglers to catch fish but we don't want to create an overstocked situation where the fish don't gain any weight.
We currently have at least one big common over 40lb, plus 10 others that are over 30lbs and a huge amount of 20lb plus carp.
You need to contact us before booking, usually dogs are not a problem but we need to think about other anglers.

We do not allow any nuts or particle baits of any kind.
Our sessions must be booked in blocks of 24hrs at a time.
The only exception is swim 2 which is a day only swim, from dawn til dusk.
No, the average angler should not find the fishing very hard, but fish are biological creatures and sometimes, they just don't want to feed! We will give you all the help you need, and whilst we don't guarantee that you will catch, it is not often people blank.
Winter can be tricky and the fish will sit in certain areas, but with our feeding program, it does help to keep the fish moving around the lake as we feed in various different spots.
